ok Jason I'm with you regarding the Indians. Maybe Rick Manning can jump from the announcers booth to the field and be the next Cleveland Indian's manager.

Somewhere between the Bryce Harper statement and your Brown's prediction, your CO must have brought out the crack. lol....see you sooon

I was never a huge Duvall fan.

I'll admit I wasn't rooting for him to win but I would like to see him do well after all the struggles he's had.

Seems like he's playing better with all the weight back that he lost back several years ago.

All of us who play golf in any sort of competition realize that in any round you always leave a few shots, that might have made a difference, out on the course. Never was this more true than in the case of David Duval in the recently completed USA Open. I watched every shot (thanks TIVO)and DD missed at least 7 -8 putts by 1/4" or less. Every competitor missed putts but what makes DD's different is that he did not shoot the bogies, etc. (except once in round 4; which was not as disasterous as it seemed at the time), that compounded the missed putts. If just 2 or 3 of these had dropped he would have won going away. Any one who knows anything about golf must respect the games of Tiger and Phil but DD is one of us because we all hope and pray that he is back to challenge these guys where others have wilted, and is one among us who have faltered and hope to be resurrected. Is there anyone out there who was not pulling for him?

Jason, I would have given anything to see you punch out the popcorn dude..

The Indians: I dont know what to say anymore. They're 8 games back in the loss column and falling fast. They play the Tigers this weekend and it's do or die if they want to get back into this thing. They have to win 2 out of 3 or say goodnight to a winning season.

The Browns: I'm like you. I think I'm secretly liking what Mangini is doing and then suddenly I see Fox Sports has them going 0-16 this coming year. Im thinking 7-9 but since the NFL is a quarterback driven league, if Quinn gets a hot hand it can be a bit better. I'll be happy if we beat Baltimore, Pissburgh and Cinci once each.

The Cavs: We need Shaq AND Charlie Viluneuva. I like Vinuneava ..he averaged 20 rebounds a game the 2nd half of the season and can score. I'll take him over Varaejao, actually. If we can sign a backup tall point guard all the better. Would I take Turkey-Glue?...you betcha! Nick

I do believe what Nick said was true, but he should have shook hands. I don't think that he will ever walk off again. It is all a learning experience.
The older he gets the smarter he will be, and hopefully even a better player.

Yes Ed, you could just see the frustration on his face. I'm not gonna condemn him because he made a mistake. I've seen head coaches in football (Bill Belichck) run off the field after a tough loss and no one trashed him this bad. Lebron wants it bad and, in my opinion, he made a statement that he just wont tolerate losing anymore. He msg'd the Magic team afterwards and handled it personally so no harm, no foul (so to speak).... Nick

I agree with Nick. For years Cleveland has had the stigma of being loveable losers. It's nice to know we have a superstar who actually hates to lose and is willing to give his heart and soul to bring a championship here. Should he have shaken hands? Probably, but it's time to let it go and move on. Now it's time for the management team to do what they need to cover up the warts that were exposed in this series. If not, I'm afraid we will only have one more year to enjoy watching Lebron in the wine and gold. Go Cavs!!!!

Well Jason..welcome home from camp..did you get some sort of infection out there? lol....actually Im glad you disagree with me on the Lebron shaking hands thing. I think it's about time a sports figure here doesnt just laugh it off and says 'well i got my check, so what?' He didn't want to wish them well because he didnt really wish them well. I bet he wants Kobe to win anyway. And Hedo was dirty, but Howard was worse with his dumbass 7' wingspan elbows flying.

And honestly, I dont know what to talk about next. I'm sure it's gonna be Wedge-related and I will definately check out the Reds. For now I channel surf like you've seen me do..lol..and crack open anohter beer. I almost watched Cops last night..lol..Go Tribe
